Melissa is Dr. Jane’s full time dental assistant.  When she came to us almost 3 years ago, she had no dental assisting experience.  Since that time she has thrown her heart into learning everything she could from Dr. Jane, has gone to college to earn her dental assisting degree, and has become an integral part of our dental team.  She is energetic, enthusiastic and happy.  Her positive attitude makes her a joy to work with.  (In case you didn’t notice the similarities, she is Kathy’s daughter).

 When Melissa is not working, she shares her time with her son, Nicholas and her dog (horse) Henry who is a Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix.

“I love dentistry because a smile is one of the first things people notice.  I enjoy working with Dr. Jane because she is a perfectionist and artist as well.  I’m learning so much every day, and I’m learning from the best!  You should see how happy people are when you improve their smile.  I feel a huge sense of accomplishment because I had a part in making that happen!
